Dog Licensing in Union Township, Berks County

Union Township issues dog licenses as a satellite office for Berks County.  Licenses are available Monday - Friday between the hours of  8:00 am to 3:30 pm.  From time to time, we may be unable to issue licenses, please call before you come in.  STATE LAW REQUIRES ALL DOGS OVER 3 MONTHS OF AGE TO BE LICENSED. OWNERS OF UNLICENSED DOGS ARE SUBJECT TO FINES NOT TO EXCEED $300

fixed/neutered = $7.00

not fixed = $9.00

For Seniors over 65 & Disabled

fixed/neutered = $5.00

not fixed = $7.00

Berks County Dog Licensing 





The Township's Administrative Assistant is a Notary Public.  For a fee of $5, she can provide basic notary services.  Please call prior to your visit to ensure our Notary is available.  Bring a photo ID (ie. driver's license, state ID or passport) that shows your signature and do not sign the document until you are in front of the Notary.
