COVID-19 HOURS - TOWNSHIP OFFICES WILL BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC
Union Township’s priority is to slow the spread of this illness and ensure that the health and wellness of employees and residents is protected. Although the Township Office will be staffed, we will be restricting public access beginning Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
Many issues can be resolved without an in-person visit to the Township Building. If you have an issue and are uncertain if it necessitates an in-person visit, please call 610-582-3769 for assistance. If you require an in-person visit, you may schedule an appointment.
We ask that if you have symptoms, have been in contact with someone who has symptoms, that you avoid entering the Township Building to prevent the spread of the virus. If you have not received a vaccine you will be required to wear a mask during your time within the Township building
Covid Vaccine Information
Vaccine Access Now Open to All Pennsylvanians
All Pennsylvania adults are now eligible to schedule an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Berks County launched a hotline Monday (4/19) designed to help residents who have been struggling to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine. The call center is aimed to assist people who have difficulty registering for a vaccination slot online or need transportation to get to an appointment. It’s part of an effort to make sure people don’t fall through the cracks and miss out on their chance to get vaccinated. The center can be reached at 1-888-712-2772 and will take calls from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with assistance available in English and Spanish. It is being operated in partnership with Co-County Wellness.
Click here for the updated vaccine provider map or you can call 1-877-724-3258 if you do not have internet access and need to find a provider. You can click on the link here in order to register in Berks County. Pennsylvania is currently distributing much of its supply through the hospital systems, which have been running regular clinics. Additional supply is being provided to pharmacies through the federal government.
